Scott opened the door of Slogan in the summer of 2001, collaborating with an incredibly talented group of LA based composers. One of them, Jimmy Tamborello, from Postal Service and Dntel, was a program director at the time for KXLU, a very hip collage radio station. Additionally, he was an A&R representative for Virgin Records. Scott also created ties with Rob Rosa, who wrote songs with Lenny Kravitz and is known as the hit maker behind Ricky Martin. Dave Russo M, who had a group on Atlantic Records, named Sun 60, and programming experience for artists such as Rage Against the Machine.
